Directions in the Building
Our office is on the 24th floor of the “A” Tower (not the “C” Tower) in the Hennepin County Government Center at 300 South 6th St, Minneapolis, MN 55487.
You can access the Tower from the Skyway level, near the Information Desk (look for the sign in the above image).
You will go through security before getting on the elevator.
Once you get to the 24th floor, let the receptionist know you’re here to meet with Commissioner Fernando and we’ll come get you!

Driving? Metered street parking and ramps are available nearby. We can validate at the Hennepin County Parking Garage (underneath the Hennepin County building), and the Jerry Haaf Memorial ramp.
Do not park at the so-called “Government Center” ramp (415 S 5th St). They charge $35 for one hour of parking.
Schedule a Tour
Commissioner Fernando and her staff offer daytime or evening tours of the 24th Floor of the Hennepin County Government Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tours are typically scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance. Please offer dates accordingly.
Additional Requirements:
Tours require a minimum of 5 people with a maximum of 30 people. Please contact our office if you want a tour that doesn’t meet these requirements.
Youth groups, where tour members are younger than 18, must have 1 adult per 10 youth.
Evening tour groups must arrive by 5:45 in order to complete a security check.
